Core Area Orientation

　　The CBD is a concentrated area of modern service industry in Beijing that integrates world topping office buildings, hotels, shopping centers, and conference & exhibition centers, and it is a core base for international economic and cultural exchanges, an international commerce port, and a symbol of the degree of Beijing’s opening up to the outside world and its integrated strength.

　　After the CBD Core Area is established, world famous banks, finance companies, consulting companies, and large multinational group administrations both at home and abroad shall be attracted, leading industries, finance for instance, shall be given priority to, and the Core Area is oriented to provide high-grade realty and service to the third industry development in the area, such as top-grade finance industry and modern service industry

Progress of Relocation Works in the Core Area

　　For the moment, the CBD Development Company has completed the survey on relocation of enterprises and residences within the CBD Core Area, and is negotiating with the largest plant in the Core Area, Beijing Nuclear Instruments Plant, and it is expected that the relocation of the plant shall be completed within 2 years. At the same time，the negotiations with other units with property rights in the Core Area are also underway, and the relocation works in the Core Area shall be developed to the depth.
